Forthcoming events

At the end of the year, for the first time, and responding to great demand and the need to serve our regions more effectively, we will be holding two Employment Law updates: one on Wednesday 18 November in Leeds, and then a repeat in London at Wednesday 9 December.  These will be presented by the ever popular Philip Lott, and will include teams from various UHR regions in an Employment Law challenge.  More details and bookings on line, can be obtained on this web site via the Events tab (NB the London event is fully booked, with a waiting list. Job vacancies

UHR is aware that the use of headhunters in the sector is under scrutiny and UHR will be working with the ECU to review the usefulness and appropriateness of these methods.  Nevertheless, as the Chair and Vice Chairs are often approached for suggestions of potential candidates who may be appropriate for a role, if any senior colleagues (i.e. current and aspiring HR Directors)  who are considering a change of role and looking for an HR appointment at senior level, wish, they may seek a confidential discussion with the UHR Chair or Vice Chairs in order to deal effectively with the headhunting contact which is focused on these appointments.
